The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) have recently released the updated Information Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) Commissioning Framework.  Click here to access.  This version incorporates the feedback received as part of the ILC consultation sessions held earlier in the year. The ILC Commissioning Framework explains how the ILC Policy will be implemented by: Outlining the vision for ILC to build an ordinary life for people with disability through greater community inclusion Explaining how the outcomes that ILC will achieve for people with disability contribute to the vision and community inclusion, Describing the role of ILC in the NDIS. As a social enterprise, it has had a huge role in showcasing and celebrating the diversity of Western Sydney. However, TASTE is much more than just a social enterprise. Western Sydney Community Forum (WSCF) in partnership with Office of Environment & Heritage (OEH) are investing up to $50,000 in the implementation of a project or projects to kick start the Blacktown Energy Initiative (BEI). BEI aims to increase energy and resource efficiency in the Blacktown and surrounding areas through developing a shared local vision and establishing and/or strengthening partnerships between local business and community networks. Applications for the Blacktown Energy Initiative, which aims to increase energy and resource efficiency in the Blacktown and surrounding areas, closes this Friday 18 November 2016. The grant is offered in partnership with Western Sydney Community Forum and the Office of Environment & Heritage. Western Sydney Community Forum (WSCF) in partnership with Office of Environment & Heritage (OEH) are investing up to $50,000 in the implementation of a project or projects to kick start the Blacktown Energy Initiative (BEI). BEI aims to increase energy and resource efficiency in the Blacktown and surrounding areas through developing a shared local vision and establishing and/or strengthening partnerships between local business and community networks. The funding is open until 18 November and we are encouraging collaborations in line with building block projects that have been identified through the project. Western Sydney Community Forum is a member of the Greater Sydney Commission’s (GSC) Independent Social Reference Panel. Participation on the Panel has enabled us to work with the Social Commissioner, Heather Nesbitt, and the GSC to articulate the most important social and urban issues for the future of Western Sydney. A key priority for the GSC is to develop District Plans for each Greater Sydney District.  The District Plans are about connecting local planning with longer-term regional planning and to better coordinate State and local government planning.
