Western Sydney Community Forum (WSCF) in partnership with Office of Environment & Heritage (OEH) are investing up to $50,000 in the implementation of a project or projects to kick start the Blacktown Energy Initiative (BEI).
BEI aims to increase energy and resource efficiency in the Blacktown and surrounding areas through developing a shared local vision and establishing and/or strengthening partnerships between local business and community networks.
The funding is open until 18 November and we are encouraging collaborations in line with building block projects that have been identified through the project.
We are also holding two briefing sessions at WSCF on Monday 7 November from 10am – 11.30am, and from 4.30pm – 6.00pm. Find out more here for the morning session, or here for the afternoon session.
This briefing will provide you with further information about the BEI. The BEI has a strong focus on working in collaboration and the briefing will be an opportunity for you to meet others who you may be able to connect with around your project idea. There will be an opportunity to ask questions of WSCF and OEH.
Light refreshments will be provided.
