There are a number of resources and events that will be useful for providers. Ethnic Communities’ Council of NSW (ECCNSW) has a new Speak My Language (Disability) video podcast series with episodes available for the first time in Auslan (Australian Sign Language). More details are in this edition.
The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is currently updating its digital systems in preparation for the upcoming changes to aged care. The Department has also released the final Aged Care Rules, as well as releasing and updating its resources to help providers get ready for the commencement of Support at Home and the new Aged Care Act on 1 November.
