Webinar: Understanding and Improving Retention in the NDIS Workforce

In this session, the Behavioural Economics Team of the Australian Government (BETA)will discuss NDIS workers’ intentions to leave or stay in the workforce, key factors on worker burnout or low engagement, possible areas to support workers to stay in the workforce, and exploring additional barriers. This workshop is for Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operations Officers, Managing Directors, Line Managers and Human Resource professionals.

My Aged Care Animation Video Launch

The Multicultural Network and partners ECSC (Ethnic Community Services Co-operative), ACCPA (Aged & Community Care Providers Association) and Gilgai Aboriginal Centre, are extending an invite to attend the My Aged Care animation video launch. Session: Yarramundi Lecture

The theme of this year’s Yarramundi lecture is For Our Elders. Indigenous elders and advisory committee members will share their personal stories, reflecting on their life experiences, and inviting questions from the audience. Registration is essential.

The Power of Community: Enhancing Dementia Research and Care Together

This session will provide insight into the latest research surrounding dementia, its impacts and practical tools and strategies to support risk reduction. Workshop: Digital Skills for the Care Sector

This workshop has been organised by MDS Sector Support, Development and Training, and will be facilitated by Your Link. This workshop aims to support the care workforce to engage across communication channels more effectively. The key topics of this workshop are understanding digital communication, using email with efficiency, participating with video calls, and navigating the internet for work requirements. A note that this workshop is funded by CHSP Sector Support Development & Training, and organisations will incur a recovery fee if people register but do not attend.
