The 2017 ZEST Awards saw health sector worker Yvonne Santalucia inducted into the Hall of Fame, with fellow recipient, Marnel LaGarde. The most prestigious honour of the ZEST Awards, a Hall of Fame induction celebrates the exceptional, sustained achievements and accomplishments of individuals working in the community sector of Greater Western Sydney. For over 30 years, Yvonne has worked in the Health sector in Western Sydney and has been involved in multiple projects, primarily in multicultural services.

The 2017 survey of Western Sydney/Nepean Food Forum participants reflects a resoundingly positive and valuable experience, resulting in enhanced support, collaboration and improved service delivery. Convened by Western Sydney Community Forum, the Food Forum consists of Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Community Care Support Program (CCSP) funded Food Services, CHSP dietitians and other interested service providers from Western Sydney and Nepean regions.

Presentations Available from Nepean Regional Forum

On Tuesday 9th May a very informative Nepean Regional Forum "Working together to make the reforms work" was held at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre in Katoomba, providing updates and lively discussion on the disability and aged care reforms. This event was a collaborative effort between WSCF, LEEP, NDCO and Blue Mountains, Penrith and Hawkesbury City Councils. Presentations from the Forum are available below.
