The focus of some of these consultations include engaging with community and sector on the development of Foundational Supports for children in NSW, assessing the effectiveness of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), and collecting feedback on how the current aged care changes and reforms are going and people’s experience with the recent changes. Details on these consultations can be found in this edition.
There are also a range of new resources and training opportunities available for aged care providers. These resources cover the new Aged Care Act and the Support at Home program, both of which are due to begin on 1 November. Resources are also available on the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), and the Aged Care Rules. More details are in this edition.
