This is a letter to my younger self about my hair and how I feel about it. My hair is very important to me because it makes me feel pretty. I didn’t like my hair in it’s natural form at all and so I wanted to change it so I could express myself more freely. I lost my confidence so I decided to cut it very short because I felt very out of place. I regretted that decision and so I eventually grew it out but straightened this time. This part in my life is very significant as it is became my symbol of my beauty. I want to teach my future kids about knowing how to take care of their hair.
